What to Expect
The Weston-Wayland Children's Business Fair inspires children to discover their inner entrepreneurs. Children showcase their very own businesses at our one-day market, which is part of the largest entrepreneurship event for kids in North America.
Over 60 kids will develop a brand, create a product or service, develop a marketing strategy, and open their business booth for customers. In addition, we anticipate that over 500 guests will visit, browse, and shop at the Fair.

Acton Academy and the Acton School of Business (Austin, TX) created the original Kidz Biz Fair model, and the Rotary Club of Weston and Wayland proudly uses—and has further expanded—that model to serve our local young entrepreneurs.
About the Concept
We all believe entrepreneurs are heroes and role models for the next generation. Whether an entrepreneur is famous like Elon Musk or Oprah Winfrey, or local kidpreneur Max Ash of MAX’IS Creations, Inc., the inventor of the Mug With a Hoop, or one of the thousands of unsung business owners across this country, they are the people who make sacrifices to innovate, create jobs, and serve their communities.
"Today's youths are tomorrow's business innovators and leaders. The Children's Business Fair allows students to spread their entrepreneurial wings and get a head start on promising business careers," said Jeff Sandefer, founder of the Acton School of Business, one of the sponsors of the Fair.
About the Awards
Awards are in each of the four age groups for "Most Business Potential," "Most Creative Idea," "Most Sustainable," and "Most Impressive Presentation." All "kid-preneurs" will receive mentorship and promotion through our Rotary Club's Public Image channels.
