DESCRIPTION:The Mission of the Wayland Police Department (WPD) is to work w

 one is the RAM Clinic Remote Area Medical  https://www.ramusa.org/ offe
 ring free\, quailty healthcare. RAM provides pop-up medical clinics around
  the United States\, offering quality dental\, vision\, and general medica
 l care at no cost to patients. The second one is "Shop With a Cop" where m
 ore than 600 kids get pick of toys during 'Shop with a Cop' event in Decem
 ber for the holidays.  Officers raise money all year for the holiday even
 t and get to spend $50 on each child\, but they often dip into their own p
 ockets to make sure each kid goes home happy. The event has run for seven 
 years and has served more than 2\,000 children in Metro West\, providing t
 hem with about $155\,000 in gifts\, clothing and food. It has had a positi
 ve impact on the relationship between kids and Police officers.  Registra
