Rotarians come out in full force at Weston 9/11 Remembrance

We gathered on the Weston Town Green Saturday, September 11 at 8:30 AM. After a brief ceremony and instructions from Town staff, the bell sounded at First Parish Church to signify the first moment of the attacks and thus the moment that we began placing the flags.  Approximately 3,000 flags were placed, signifying one flag for each life lost that day. Many residents gathered to pay tribute especially on this 20th anniversary of the tragic event.  Weston and Wayland Rotarians (we even found a Waltham Rotarian) came out in full force to help place the flags and remember.  Thank you!
