Our outgoing immediate past president, Katya Portnaya, who served from July 2023 to July 2024, was recognized by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for her hard work, leadership, and dedicated service as President of the Weston-Wayland Rotary Club. She received two official citations recognizing Katya's work and the Commonwealth's,
"...very best wishes and expresses the hope for future good fortune and continued success in all endeavors." Katya responded, "I am so incredibly touched and honored to have received these two recognitions. Thank you to our incredible Rotary Club of Weston & Wayland and our new 24-25 President Vera Lucia Dias for all your hard work this year. Couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you!"
