Rotary Celebrates America's 250th at the Wayland Festival
In addition to hosting the 29th Annual Antique & Classic Car Show, the Rotary Club of Weston & Wayland was proud to participate in the Wayland 250th Festival on October 3rd. The festival, celebrating America's 250th anniversary, brought together residents, community organizations, businesses, and visitors for a day of history, patriotism, entertainment, and community spirit.
Our Rotary booth provided another wonderful opportunity to connect with the community, share information about our service projects, scholarships, youth programs, and charitable initiatives, and meet both longtime supporters and new friends. Events like these remind us how fortunate we are to be part of such a vibrant and engaged community.
A special thank you goes to the many Rotary members and volunteers who helped make the festival a success while also supporting the Car Show. Pulling off two major community events on the same day took tremendous teamwork, and we are grateful to everyone who stepped up to do double duty. Your dedication, enthusiasm, and willingness to serve exemplify the Rotary spirit.
Congratulations to the lucky winners of our Wayland 250th Festival raffle prizes:
- Phantom of the Opera Tickets (Value: $375)
- Terrain Café Gift Certificate (Value: $100)
- Holiday Flower Arrangement by Joy Viola (Value: $85)
- 110 Grill Gift Certificate (Value: $50)
Thank you again to everyone who volunteered, donated, organized, visited our booth, and helped represent Rotary throughout the weekend. Your commitment to our club and our community is what makes events like these possible. Together, you helped make both the Car Show and the Wayland 250th Festival memorable celebrations of community, service, and civic pride.
