Nomination Deadline March 11, 2026
Rotary Youth Leadership Award – Recognizing Outstanding Sophomores
The Rotary Club of Weston & Wayland is seeking nominations for exceptional 10th‑grade students who embody — or aspire to embody — Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self.” If you know a sophomore who lives in or goes to school in Weston or Wayland and is dedicated to community service and lea
dership, we’d love to meet them. Nominations are accepted from parents, teachers, coaches, advisors, students, and community members. Please share this opportunity with others who may know a deserving sophomore.
We were recently inspired by a past award recipient who has taken their commitment to service worldwide and is now preparing to join the Peace Corps. Stories like this show the impact RYLA can have on a young leader’s path.
Selected students will be eligible for a full scholarship to attend the three‑day RYLA leadership conference at Fitchburg State University on June 26–28, 2026.
DEADLINE for nominations is March 11th, 2026. Award winners will be invited to join us for a celebration event on March 19, 2026, from 6–8 PM at the Wayland Community Center.
