Happy December,

If you will not be at the meeting you can send payment and meal choice to me or drop it in my mailbox at 25 Applecrest Road, Weston, (last street on Rt. 20 heading to Wayland).

RYLA
The RYLA event was another fantastic meeting. A great job was done by the whole team in pulling it together. John, Jan and Edwin are making this event the place to be and the smiles on the faces of the families in attendance were priceless.

We had many special guests including Susan Paley from the Village Bank, Jim Brown, our Assistant Governor, State Representative Carmine Gentile, the high school Principals from both Weston, Anthony Parker and Wayland, Allyson Mizoguchi as well as the nominators Jay Moody and Kathy Pacquette. Both award recipients were accompanied by their parents. Be sure to look for the upcoming article in the Town Crier this Thursday.

In honor of World AIDS Day on November 30 we pledged the Happy Dollars to AGAPE an agency that cares for orphans with AIDS. Our contribution will be matched by another donor so it is a great win for all.

A special thank you to Steve for making sure everyone saw and signed the condolence card for Phil on the passing of his son.

We also included Brad Heilman in our thoughts for a speedy recovery from his fall over the Thanksgiving holiday. Heidi said he is expected to make a full recovery.

A couple of administrative items of note. The Board has approved an upgraded module for Clubrunner to manage events and coordinate communications. During the next several months you will receive emails with links that should work and may not. Please have patience and communicate to me directly if you have difficulties opening or using a link. We have also purchased a credit card reader and will have it at our meeting this week for taking meal payments by guests as well as holiday party payments.
