Note from the President:

Dear fellow Rotarians,

We had an amazing meeting and turnout last week at the library. A big thank you goes out to Jan who provided a great meal from a Wellesley caterer.

While we were happy to see so many (18) Rotarians and a special guest and past president of Rotary Hawaii attend our meeting the food shortage makes for the real life example of why we need everyone to reply to emails and polls. For those who did not feel they were sufficiently fed I apologize. We had a confirmation for 12 and had planned accordingly.

I cannot stress enough the need for more communication rather than less from our members as we look forward to our upcoming events whether it is the BBQ at Jan's this week, the Lobsterfest at Cindy's or the Car Show.

Please start tracking your volunteer hours by using the following link: "Rotary Community Service Tracker."

Please email Jan directly that you will or will not be attending the meeting this week. jan@janluchetti.com

Please reply to Cindy Appleby with your selection: lobster, chicken, steak  for 8/24 Lobsterfest. email Cindy at Westontravel@comcast.net

And a special thank you to all that reached out to me regarding my daughter's film. Your complements are greatly appreciated. I have asked her for the link to the other film and we will have an opportunity to see that one too at a later date.

Have a great week.

Best regards,

Mark Messina
President WWRC 2017

We will be going to a different group of car shows this year to drive attendance so stay tuned or suggest new shows and leaflet. We also need people to push sponsorships really hard this year.

We have set up a monthly golf outing for a 1:30 pm start and 9 holes (we could do 18)

The dates are:

August, 17, 2017
September 7, 2017
October 12, 2017
