This year is the 25th Anniversary of the attacks on September 11, 2001.
In observance of the tragic events, the Weston community will once again place approximately 3,000 flags on the Town Green—one for each life lost that day. Town residents and members of the public are invited to join in this meaningful act of remembrance.
We will gather at the Town Green at 8:30 AM. Following a brief ceremony and instructions from Town staff, the bell at First Parish Church will sound to mark the first moment of the first attack, signaling the start of the flag placement.
Each year, our club joins the community in this quiet and powerful tribute to honor the lives lost and the resilience we continue to uphold. This tradition remains one of our most meaningful moments of service, carrying even greater significance as we mark the 25th anniversary of that tragic day.
